To My Patients:
I am writing you this letter to thank you for choosing me to be your orthopedic surgeon and to inform you that I will be retiring from my practice at the end of 2011.

After twenty-one years in practice at Everett Bone and Joint, my wife Hap and I are ready and excited to move on to a new stage in our lives. We hope to travel, volunteer, and spend more time with each other and our two grown-up sons.

I leave you in good hands. Doug Nowak is a fellowship trained orthopedic sports medicine specialist who brings with him the latest arthroscopic techniques in treating disorders of the shoulder, elbow, hip, and knee. Ralph Haller, Jeff Mason, and Peter Kinahan, together, have over sixty years of experience taking care of disorders of the bones and joints. Howard Barker is a fellowship trained foot and ankle specialist as well as an excellent general orthopedist. Bill Huang is specially trained and is especially good at hip and knee replacement. Todd Havener is our hand and wrist expert. And John Pryor is our Harvard-trained spine surgeon.

It has been both a privilege and a pleasure providing care to you and your family. Thank you. I hope you will continue to consider Everett Bone and Joint as the place where you will come for any orthopedic problems.

Sincerely,

Clay Wertheimer, MD
